3-D Modeling
The first assignment involved creating a realistic model of your room using a variety of shapes, textures, and lighting effects. The second was a challenge to create an "impossible object", or one that does not exist in real life. I chose to illustrate Zeus's lightning bolt and experimented again with textures, complex shapes, lighting, and text.
Video Editing
In class, we experimented with video editing by creating a remix video of stock video and creating our own soundtrack from various sound clips. After this project, I continued developing my video editing skills by creating a promotional video for a golf outing fundraiser.
Photoshop
To further develop our Photoshop skills, we were instructed to blend a historical image and a modern graphic. I chose to take a photo of King Henry VIII and craft a Bachelor-style promotional poster for his fictitious season, a nod to the known mistreatment of his wives. Combining 6+ images, I worked to blend the collage together to create a coherent look while honoring today's modern style for TV promotional items.
